McClure Looks to be Magical at the “Magic Mile”… Eric McClure has had his best races at NHMS during the last two seasons, posting a 20th and 22nd-place finish respectively. He hopes to improve his finishing position in the running of the CNBC Prime’s The Profit 200 this Saturday. NHMS Fast Facts…The upcoming Nationwide Series event will mark the Virginia driver’s 216th-career Nationwide Series start and his seventh at the “Magic Mile.” In six starts, McClure has completed 86.6% of the total laps attempted (1206), has been running at the end of four events, and has an average finish of 28. Chassis No.7 …In Saturday’s CNBC Prime’s The Profit 200, McClure will pilot chassis No.7 out of the TriStar Motorsports stable. This chassis was last used at Iowa Speedway where the 34-year-old driver posted a track-best finish of 18th. McClure Remains 23rd in Owner Standings…After posting a 24th-place finish at Daytona Int’l Speedway, McClure remains 23rd in NASCAR Owner Standings, 38 points out of the top-20.
