76ers Playing .500 Ball (In Dec.)

Philadelphia 76ers management has tanked on the fans

Thank goodness that’s over. After defeating the lowly Minnesota Timberwolves, last night, the Philadelphia 76ers are now riding their longest winning streak of the season. They’re playing the best basketball they’ve played in weeks. Things haven’t looked this great in Philly since Joel Embiid slipped to the third pick in the 2014 NBA draft. And, yeah, they’re 1-17. Philadelphia snapped a season-opening 17-game losing streak and avoided the ignominy of the longest losing streak to start a season in league history with a 85-77 win at Target Center against the Timberwolves. Could Kentucky beat the 76ers?

Want to hear a fun stat? The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently scoring, on average, 14.6 points per game. The Philadelphia 76ers, the winless Philadelphia 76ers, are losing by an average of 16.5 points. That’s right; an NBA team exists that loses by more points than an NFL team even scores. Do you realize how impossible that is? In the last two full seasons, no team besides...
