The NASCAR season is back upon us and it is time to get you caught up with everything that happened in the offseason. Start ‘N’ Park Blog will be going through their list of drivers running the full schedule in 2013 and telling you what you can expect from those drivers in the new year. Today’s entry is the driver of the #78 Furniture Row Chevrolet, Kurt Busch. Driver: Kurt Busch #78 Sponsor(s): Furniture Row Make: Chevrolet Team: Furniture Row Racing Crew Chief: Todd Berrier 2012 Finish: 25th What’s new for 2013: Kurt Busch started in October of 2012 with the team and Todd Berrier started as crew chief in August for the team. Mike’s Rank: 18th Mike’s Take: What’s the opening bets for how long Busch lasts until he’s fired? August? July? Ok, I believe that Kurt can succeed with this team. He consistently improved his finish at the end of last year and could quietly keep moving up. It’s just he’s been in a checkers or wreckers style as of late that could cost him precious points. Jason’s Rank: 19th Jason’s Take: Busch won’t do much in 2013 and his finishes will show it. Wrecks and inconsistency will hurt Busch and his whole No.78 team. Brandon’s Rank: 12th Brandon’s Take: Kurt Busch is somewhat of a sleeper pick for me.  He showed that he can finish solidy in the top-10 and 15 for a underrated team like Furniture Row Racing.  If Busch can keep his emoctions in check, he might be the sleeper in NSCS. Brittany’s Rank: 11th Brittany’s Take: It’s an adjustment period for Busch, could be hit or miss. If he’s on he’ll make the Chase, if off, watch out.
