Tom Hanks plays Captain Richard Phillips in Paul Greengrass’ biopic of the 2009 hijacking of the US-flagged MV Maersk Alabama by Somali Pirates. It is refreshing to see Tom play a role in an action flick, and we will be definitely seeing this. It hits theaters October 11, 2013.
