Barrett advances to high jump finals
University of Arizona athlete Brigetta Barrett advanced to the finals of the women's high jump at the London Olympics by clearing 6 feet, 4 inches in Thursday's preliminary round at Londons Olympic Stadium.
Barrett recorded one miss on the day, taking two tries to clear 6-4. During the 2012 outdoor season, Barrett has cleared 6-4 or better on eight different occasions.
