The NHL free agent signing period began on Saturday, July 1, and three former St. Cloud State stars have signed contracts for next season. Jack Ahcan, a 26-year-old defenseman from Savage, Minn., signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday.
