With the signing of several new players in free agency by the Bucs this offseason, team announced new uniform numbers for them on Wednesday. On Wednesday, Greg Auman of Fox Sports tweeted an update of seven players and their new numbers for the Bucs this season.

Per Sports Illustrated’s JC Allen, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are signing former Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Sua Opeta to a one-year deal. Opeta went undrafted in 2019 out of Weber State.

The Philadelphia Eagles announced that they have waived G Sua Opeta on Friday. Opeta, 26, wound up going undrafted back in 2019. He later signed a rookie contract with the Eagles and was added to their practice squad at the start of the 2019 season.
The Eagles will be without two starters on Sunday after Sua Opeta and Josh Sweat were downgraded to inactive for the wild card matchup. Tay Gowan, Kary Vincent Jr., Reid Sinnett, Andre Chachere, and Jason Huntley were also listed as inactive.
The Eagles are already short-handed along the offensive line, and on Tuesday, the team announced that guard Sua Opeta has been placed on the Reserve/COVID-19.
