Report: Cardinals looking to sign Patrick Peterson to an extension

According to Mike Jureki of XTRA 910 in Phoenix, the Arizona Cardinals would like to sign cornerback Patrick Peterson to a long-term extension some time during the upcoming season.

Peterson currently has two years left on his rookie contract. He’s scheduled to become a free agent in 2015.
