Aside from his rookie year, this season has been the worst of Tony Parker's career. He's averaging 13.8 points and 4.9 assists per game and barely getting to the free-throw line. His shot isn't falling.
But since the All-Star break, Parker's gone through a stretch of incompetence that's completely foreign to the six-time All-Star and four-time champion we've come to know.
Tony Parker took his share of the blame for the San Antonio Spurs' recent struggles, which includes a four-game losing streak.
“It’s tough right now," Parker said. "It’s tough. Since I’ve been with the Spurs, I’ve never experienced that in a 3-game, 4-game stretch. We’re not making shots. It starts with me. I’m not making shots. Our 3-point shooters are not making shots...
After the San Antonio Spurs dropped a bad game on their Rodeo Road Trip to the Utah Jazz, Tony Parker was making a rather bold prediction. Whether he was delirious from the loss or his recent string of inconsistency, Parker thought the Spurs could still get to the top half of the playoff bracket! Excuse […]
You already saw Tyson Chandler’s post on The Players’ Tribune about how awesome San Antonio Spurs forward Tim Duncan is, but now it’s a point guard’s turn to get some praise. Portland’s C.J. McCollum took to the website and praised Tony Parker’s now-classic mid-range jumper and how he finishes at the rim. The mid-range master. […]
Can anyone stop Warriors’ Stephen Curry?
The Spurs’ Tony Parker tried and well, let’s just say Curry made TP’s defense look foolish as he crossed up the former 2007 NBA Finals MVP and punctuated it with a dagger three pointer right in Parker’s face.

According to San Antonio Express-News reporter Jeff McDonald, Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich knows his team can't repeat as world champions if Tony Parker isn't 100% healthy and playing like the dominant virtuoso he's been throughout his entire career.
Parker has battled a partially torn hamstring for most of the season, and his play has suffered. He's posting career-low numbers...
It’s time people. It is finally time to put the tradition to bed. It is a time for change, not just a little change involving sleeves or no sleeves for the jerseys. It is time for change that will lead to asterisks for every playoff appearance statistic that we use. The NBA needs to change the playoff format.
Right now, just a few days before the all-star break in which teams...
In an interview with Scoop Jackson, San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker’s distant cousin, Parker talked about last year’s championship (as so often happens now), his growing confidence in himself as a point guard, and of course his relationship with coach Popovich. Specifically, there’s an excerpt I want to direct to your attention about how […]
Hold up. We knew the Spurs were an innovative franchise, but this is ridiculous. They’ve just invented the “verbal flop”. Watch in amazement as the wily veteran Tony Parker draws a foul call by simply yelling the word “hey”. h/t: clutchfansDOTnet No visits yet The post Tony Parker Draws Foul By Simply Yelling ‘Hey!’ appeared first on No Coast Bias.
