“Marcos got his first win at Watkins Glen last year and now finds himself as the top dog at Richard Petty Motorsports. He should benefit from that, but I don’t see him breaking into the Chase right away. This pick of 16th is about where he was before, good runs, bad runs, then mostly average runs. I do see him continuing to improve, I just hope he has the time to do so. Only thing I would change about this team is the number on the side of the car, that style looks terrible!”
