The NASCAR season is back upon us and it is time to get you caught up with everything that happened in the offseason. Start ‘N’ Park Blog will be going through their list of drivers running the full schedule in 2013 and telling you what you can expect from those drivers in the new year. Today’s entry is the driver of the #15 5-Hour Energy Toyota, Clint Bowyer. Driver: Clint Bowyer #15 Sponsor(s): 5-Hour Energy/Peak Motor Oil Make: Toyota Team: Michael Waltrip Racing Crew Chief: Brain Pattie 2012 Finish: 2nd What’s new for 2013: Bowyer’s team added Peak Motor Oil to the sponsorship mix for 2013. Mike’s Rank: 5th Mike’s Take: 2012 was a magical season for this team that most everything (minus racing Jeff Gordon) went right for the team. I just don’t see them striking gold two years in a row. Since they didn’t change much in the offseason, I can see them putting up some wins, but not having the same run they ended 2012 with. Jason’s Rank: 7th Jason’s Take: Bowyer had such a strong first season at MWR that he’ll fall backwards a little realizing how well he did last year. The backwards fall won’t be too bad but he’ll be on the edge of making the Chase, barely sneaking into the top ten. Bowyer will have a few victories in the season and have a so-so Chase but a solid season overall. Brandon’s Rank: 5th Brandon’s Take: Clint Bowyer has allowed MWR to be respectable to my surprise.  He won several races and was one of MWR’s first Chasers in team history.  Bowyer will have another great season with MWR and finally race for a title. Brittany’s Rank: 12th Brittany’s Take: He’s appropriately placed behind Busch for his competitiveness.
