PITTSBURGH (AP) The Colorado Rockies have traded right-hander Rob Scahill to the Pittsburgh Pirates for minor league righty Shane Carle.
The deal was announced Tuesday.
The 27-year-old Scahill was 1-0 with a 4.80 ERA in 12 relief outings for Colorado this season.
Scahill made his big league debut in 2012 with Colorado and pitched 23 games in the majors in 2013.
