After 200 minor league relief appearances former Vanderbilt pitcher Nick Christiani made his MLB debut Friday with a scoreless outing for the Reds. He’s been very effective since July and should get an extended stay through the remainder of the season.

Christiani Perfect as D'Dogs Win

The Phoenix Desert Dogs won their first game after the "Rising Stars break", defeating the Surprise Saguaros 4-3. -Cody Puckett, in right field, continued his dismal performance in the AFL going 0-3, with a walk and a strikeout. -Nick Christiani had a perfect inning to help himself get back on track.
