The girls basketball team at Bloomington South High School in Bloomington, Indiana is pretty good. The Panthers are 8-1, the only loss coming on the road to a good Center Grove team. The girls basketball team at Arlington High School in Indianapolis has struggled. The Golden Knights are 0-6 and on a 23-game losing streak, stretching back to last season. They’ve averaged only 17 points a game this year and have lost two games by more than 50 points. The unbiased observer would expect Bloomington South to beat Arlington without much trouble. But I don’t know if anyone expected the Panthers to win 107-2. Arlington didn’t score from the field and hit only one free throw in the first half and one in the second. Panthers head coach Larry Winters says that his team wasn’t trying to run up the score.
