KEVONTE MARTIN-MANLEY RUMORS

Iowa WR Martin-Manley cited for disorderly house

Iowa football player Kevonte Martin-Manley was cited for disorderly house by Iowa City police early Saturday morning. Martin-Manley, 21, was ticketed following a complaint of a loud party. Police were called to 760 Sunset Street in Iowa City. The report states there were “people inside and (outside) making a lot of noise and playing music.” Martin-Manley enters his senior season...

Iowa football: Previewing the WR position

Kevonte Martin-Manley hopes to lead the Hawkeyes passing game to new heights this season. A couple of years ago, Iowa had two of the best wide receivers to ever wear black and gold for the Hawkeyes in Marvin McNutt and Derrell Johnson-Koulianos. Then when they graduated, Iowa was left with a slot receiver as the number one option and a couple of drop happy athletes. Since then, Iowa...

Iowa Hawkeyes earn Outback Bowl bid vs. LSU

The Iowa Hawkeyes (8-4, 5-3 Big Ten) and head coach Kirk Ferentz have rebounded from an abysmal 2012 campaign to earn a spot in the Outback Bowl on Jan. 1 against the LSU Tigers (9-3, 5-3 SEC). Iowa has reached a bowl game 12 times with Ferentz’s under the helm and non-more impressive – minus the squad’s 2010 Orange Bowl win – than this year’s bid to play against SEC-powerhouse...

Nebraska takes 3rd home loss of season

Jake Rudock threw for two touchdowns, including a 24-yarder to Kevonte Martin-Manley right after Iowa had stuffed Nebraska on a fake punt, and the Hawkeyes finished the regular season with a 38-17 victory on Friday.

Happy Returns in Hawkeyes Rout

The Iowa Hawkeyes obliterated Western Michigan on Saturday in Kinnick Stadium, a rout that was sparked by back to back punt returns for touchdowns by Kevonte Martin-Manley. He’s the first player in the Big Ten to do that since Garcia Lane of Ohio State in 1983 and just the third in league history. It was that kind of day for Iowa when most things went right during the final three...

Camera Gone Wild during Insight Bowl

I always enjoy the views form the skycam during the football games; it gets you right there in the middle of the action.  But in the Insight Bowl the skycam got a little too personal for Iowa.  With less than 2:30 to play in the 4th quarter the skycam came crashing to the ground near the Iowa huddle.  Iowa receivers Marvin McNutt and Kevonte Martin-Manley briefly got tangled in...
