WWE Legend on Orange Cassidy: "Everybody loves CM Punk too. I never got it. Never understood it."

Road Dogg Brian James knows Orange Cassidy can work, but is he a better "sports entertainer" than the "D-O Double G?"

On his "Oh ... You Didn't Know" podcast, Orange Cassidy was one of the three "Top Dogg" subjects, a segment where James gets presented three unexpected wrestlers to determine if he's a better "sports entertainer" than they are. The segment stems from where James claimed he was a better "sports entertainer" than Bret Hart and Orange Cassidy fell into his crosshairs.

Dogg initially joked that the didn't know who Cassidy was, but then stated he doesn't get the act that the "Freshly Squeezed" International Champion presents.

"I've seen him work, and he's pretty great. Yeah. So, I don't understand. And if the answer is, 'Cause you're old, and so you don't understand.' I get that, but I also think that's a cop-out answer because you don't understand either.

You just like it and I just don't. You know what I mean? Like let's not get down to brass tacks because we'll both be right and we'll both be wrong."

Road Dogg made clear that he knows he's in the minority on his opinion with Orange Cassidy but also didn't get another former major star in AEW, CM Punk.

"Everybody loves CM Punk too. I never got it. Never understood it, cuts a decent promo good in today's world. Never got the rest of it. Let's lay it on. If we're getting heat, let's get it."

James currently is the Senior VP Of Live Events for WWE while his longtime tag partner, Billy Gunn, is a current World Trios Tag Team Champion in AEW.
