Tony Khan comments on Madison Rayne's signing with AEW

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Tony Khan talked about Madison Rayne joining AEW as an office employee:

"We've shaken up the office a bit. We have a lot of great executives. We promoted some from within the team. We just added another coach. Madison Rayne is a great wrestler with a ton of experience. She's a great person in the ring and a great person in the office, and I think she's really going to add a lot to our team.”

On if Madison will compete in the ring:

"I'm not saying she wouldn't wrestle anymore, and obviously, we're kind of open to it. We have other people in the office who do wrestle as part of their schedule, so I'm definitely open to it. I haven't talked a lot about it right now, because we're primarily focused on the whole company. But yeah, it's definitely something I'm really open to and would actually like."

Since the interview, it has been announced that Rayne will step into the ring with Leila Grey tonight during a live episode of AEW Rampage.
