Shaquille O'Neal recently teased a return to the ring to face an old nemesis. The NBA legend is not a stranger in the pro-wrestling scene, and it looks like we'll watch him going at it again pretty soon.

He hasn't competed since March when he faced Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet. He got knocked out at that opportunity, but that hasn't changed his desire to return to the ring and knock some folks out.

Talking with Pop Culture, Shaq discussed the possibilities of fighting again. He even dropped a name he'd like to face this summer: Paul Wright. You probably don't know who this man is by his real name, but he was known as 'The Big Show' in WWE. O'Neal said Wright has been talking trash about him, and the Los Angeles Lakers legend is ready to settle this dispute (1:17).

But I look forward to doing it again, and I hear that Paul White’s still talking trash. So I’m gonna work out really hard this summer, and maybe we could do something very, very soon.”

On the possibility of him facing White in AEW: “There shouldn’t be any problems for us getting together now. Last time there was a lot of bureaucracy and red tape, now there is no red tape. I’m still still kind of sore from that table, so I’m going to work out the summer, pump these muscles up, and I’ll be waiting for you, Mr. Paul.”

Shaq is ready for the challenge and his potential opponent isn't backing down. He took notice of O'Neal's words and tweeted a response to the 4x NBA champion.

This duel would be something to watch, for sure. We're talking about two titans who have a history together and apparently still have some unsolved issues. AEW can make this happen and put together one of the best events of the summer.
