One of the top factions in the history of professional wrestling is D-Generation-X. The members in the group were Triple H, Shawn Michaels, X-Pac, Road Dogg Jesse James, and Badass Billy Gunn. The latter two had also dominated the tag team division. They called themselves the New Age Outlaws. The duo had captured the WWE World Tag Team Championships on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, he took the wrong path and that affected his career.

During the latest episode of the Oh… You Didn’t Know? podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer opened up about his dark path and how his addictions affected him. Road Dogg Jesse James revealed that he learned so much and he would never change anything as without that part of his life he would not be where he is now.

“I’ve learned so much in those 13 years that I didn’t know then. I don’t know if I would change anything because I had to go through all that to get to where I’m at now and learn the things I’ve learned — both good and bad.”

James also revealed that he even called into WWE once on drugs. But after he came out of that dark place, he felt a lot better and smarter.

“It sounds horrible, but I phoned it in on drugs, and I guess I wish I would have seen how good I was without them… It was fun and I felt like I was better at what I was doing because I felt like I was smarter at it,” Road Dogg Jesse James said. [H/T Wrestling Inc.]
