AEW veteran star Paul Wight (formerly The Big Show in WWE) recently discussed his in-ring future. He believes that he still got enough to compete inside the squared circle.

Pro wrestling has seen some of the iconic stars standing over 7ft tall and Paul Wight is one of them. He is a veteran and has entertained the fans for decades. He racked up multiple titles in WWE before moving to AEW.

Paul Wight's last in-ring match took place back in March 2022, against Austin Green at AEW Dark: Elevation. He originally made his debut for YouTube series AEW Dark: Elevation as a commentator. He went on to have a few matches, notably against Q.T. Marshall in a winning effort at All Out 2021.

Paul Wight: I wouldn’t say I’ve still got it. I’ve got enough

During his appearance on talkSPORT Breakfast, the veteran pro wrestler was questioned if he still has 'It' in him. Wight said that he doesn't believe he still got it. But he has got enough. He made it clear that is not eyeing to win titles and compete on a regular basis in the promotion. That being said, he would like to make appearances instead. Here is what he said:

“Have I still got it? I wouldn’t say I’ve still got it. I’ve got enough. At this stage of the game for me, where I’m at in my career, I’m not trying to win championships or carry companies. I did over 20 years at five days a week all over the world. I think now, if I do one or two days a week, it’s just about enough for me."

Fans had been speculating that Wight could make his in-ring return as Captain Insano, a character he portrayed in The Waterboy could be and the term was also trademarked by AEW. Wight has also made a one-off appearance as Captain Insano in the Acclaimed's one rap video.

We will have to wait and see when he decides to make his return to the ring.
