Jon Moxley will be in action at NJPW Battle in the Valley.
Shingo Takagi confronted Moxley backstage after NJPW New Year Dash and challenged him to a match at the January 13 show. They agreed to wage war in a No Disqualification Match.
Moxley and Takagi both competed at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18. Takagi lost the NEVER Openweight Championship to Tama Tonga. Meanwhile, Moxley competed in a three-way match that crowned the inaugural IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion. David Finlay beat him and Will Ospreay to win the gold.
