Jim Ross says his AEW contract is up in February, and he hopes he gets to finish up there.

Speaking on Grilling JR, the legendary broadcaster noted that his AEW contract is set to expire on February 14. Co-host Conrad Thompson asked him to confirm the date, and he did. (H/t Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling for the transcription)

“Yeah… I hope so, I hope so (it’ll be a good renewal for Tony Khan),” Jim Ross said. “I’d like to finish up in AEW. I got to be realistic about things Connie. We talk about these birthdays and I’m the same age as (Nick) Saban and (Bill) Belichick and all these cats… I love working with them.”

During the podcast, Ross also said he wants to see Sting’s undefeated streak continue in his final match, which is set for AEW Revolution on March 5. Check out his comments here.
