Charlotte Flair provides an update on her recovery.

Charlotte Flair suffered an apparent injury on the December 8 episode of WWE SmackDown, and she subsequently had surgery. She reportedly suffered a torn ACL MCL, and meniscus. She was already rehabbing two weeks after the procedure, and Ric Flair has said she was crushing her recovery. WWE previously announced that she would be out of action for nine months.

Speaking on CNBC’s Power Lunch, Charlotte Flair was asked for an update, and she said that she was ahead of schedule.

I’m six weeks out Thursday,” she said. “I’m ahead of schedule, and every day, all I can think about is returning back to the ring. Especially with all the excitement with RAW going to Netflix, WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia. All I can think about is getting back and winning that number 15.”

WrestleZone wishes Charlotte Flair well in her recovery, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
