However, when it comes to title matches, he has been on the losing end of things. According to CageMatch.net, Danielson holds a 0-7 record in AEW/ROH championship matches.

Danielson lost to Hangman Page for the World Title in January 2022 on Dynamite, followed by another loss in the AEW World Title Grand Slam Tournament Of Champions Final Match in September 2022.

He later lost to ROH World Champion Chris Jericho the following month, then at Full Gear 2022 in a fatal 4-way match, again to Jericho. The following March at Revolution 2023, Danielson put AEW World Champion MJF over in an Iron Man Match. He later lost to Christian Cage that October on Collision for the TNT Title and then to Kingston in his most recent bout.
