Britt Baker vs. Taya Valkyrie added to AEW Dynamite

A first time ever matchup in the women's division has been added to AEW Dynamite as Britt Baker will take on Taya Valkyrie.

Valkyrie defeated Skye Blue on Saturday's AEW Collision and then took to the microphone to share some thoughts: one of them being a match against Baker. 

Valkyrie dismissed Baker's win on last Wednesday's Dynamite over Kayla Sparks and challenged the former AEW Women's Champion to a match this Wednesday.

Valkyrie has won three of her last four and is 9-5 in her early AEW run while Baker has struggled to gain any real momentum in the last few months, losing in the first round of the women's Owen Hart Foundation tournament to rival Ruby Soho.

While this is their first match, they did share the ring for a multi-woman match for Warrior Wrestling in February 2020.
