Social Media Reacts in Shock to Brittney Griner News

In the latest news, Russia has moved Brittney Griner into the Russian penal colony.

Although this transfer typically takes weeks or maybe even months, this is terrible news for the Griner family and the rest of the basketball world.

Russian penal colony prisons are no joke and are home to some of the worst criminals in the Russian state. Inside, inhumane and harsh conditions exist, and inmates are forced to work for the majority of the day with few breaks.

One cannot even imagine the difficulties that lie ahead for the once-shining Phoenix Mercury Center.

The social media world reacted in shock, and many are extremely worried about the health of Brittney Griner as she moves into the new prison.

Some are even arguing that the WNBA should refuse to ever play in Russia again.

The recent news has even gotten the attention of Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

As of right now, nobody knows exactly where Brittney Griner is located.
