Watch: Elated Novak Djokovic blows a kiss to Nick Kyrgios and the McEnroe brothers in the commentator’s box as the audience erupts in cheer at the Australian Open

Serbian tennis ace Novak Djokovic shares a great bond with Australian star Nick Kyrgios. While the two have shared words of admiration for each other many times in the past, this Australian Open the bromance is peaking. Kyrgios is leaving no chance to hail Djokovic as the best ever. Meanwhile, the 24-time Grand Slam champion took it a notch higher by blowing kisses to Kyrgios.

During his quarterfinal match against American Taylor Fritz , Novak Djokovic was seen blowing kisses to Kyrgios and McEnroe brothers in the commentator’s box. After sealing a point in the tiebreaker of the first set, Djokovic looked towards the commentary booth where Kyrgios, John McEnroe, and Patrick McEnroe were seated and blew a kiss.

This act from the Serbian ace got loud cheers from the fans in the stadium. It also caught the attention of the fans online who were left impressed with the bromance between the two rivals.

After the win too, Djokovic’s bromance with Nick Kyrgios continued as the Serbian asked the crowd to show some love to the local lad. Djokovic said that while he is happy to see the Australian here in the commentary booth, he wants to see him on the court with a racket in his hand.

Great to see you. Looking good in that booth. But looking better here. Hopefully with a racquet also soon. We miss Nick. Come on guys. Show him some love. Novak Djokovic said.

While Novak Djokovic looked in a jovial mood during his quarterfinal match against Taylor Fritz, it was not a cakewalk for the 24-time Grand Slam champion. The Serbian, however, managed to sail through and enter the semifinals of the 2024 Australian Open.

Djokovic maintained his unbeaten record against Fritz and beat the American in four sets of 7-6, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 in three hours and forty-five minutes. It was a tough game for Djokovic considering his record against Fritz. Nevertheless, the Serbian did not let it slip and sealed the game to advance to yet another Australian Open semifinal.
