Tunisian star Ons Jabeur recently featured in a video for the Australian Open where she walked through the hall of fame that showed all the winners of the Open while hoping to end up there one day.

The Tunisian mentioned most of the players on the wall but skipped through the name of Victoria Azarenka, who called out the player in a funny way. 

After mentioning Petr Korda’s name, she met a few days ago and directly went on hugging Kim Clijsters name. However, she overlooked the name of Victoria Azarenka in the process.

The tweet expressed her love for the player with a cheeky tweet to leave the fans laughing. The 34-year-old won the Australian Open twice back in 2012 and 2013 to find herself on the wall of winners. 

She beat the top players to achieve this feat and became one of the many women to win back-to-back titles in two years.

Azarenka returned to Australia to play in the Australian Open and the tournaments before it. After a good run at the Brisbane International, she lost to her fellow mate, Aryna Sabalenka

Now, the 34-year-old will feature at the Australian Open with hopes of winning the tournament one more time.

Ons Jabeur revealed to get maximum rest before the Australian Open

Ons Jabeur, the leading Tunisian player, was recently featured in an Australia Open video where she ran through a list of past winners, stating her favorites. 

With hopes of finding herself among the list of winners, the Tunisian starts her 2024 season at the main event in Australia.

Now, she returned to the tournament and revealed that she had not played any prior tournaments to get maximum rest for the tournament. 

After signing a huge brand deal with a new wellness brand Kayanee, Jabeur will be seen on court representing a new logo.

Since 2022, Ons has reached the finals of Wimbledon twice and the US Open once. Not having won any Slam despite coming on touching distance, there is a huge possibility for the Tunisian to win. 

Entering a tournament featuring a huge lineup of players, Jabeur is one of the favorites entering the tournament.
