'I don’t need to practice,' Caroline Wozniacki shares a humbling exchange with her baby daughter right before she stops being the cool ‘tennis mum’

The Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki will return to the Australian Open for the first time after giving birth to her child.

The 2018 Australian Open winner has a good record on the hard courts of Australia. After becoming a mother, the former World No. 1 is trying to create a balance between her professional tennis career and being a mother.

In an interview via Melbourne Press, Caroline Wozniacki opens up about the sweet exchanges she had with her baby daughter Olivia.

She gets the fact that I play tennis. Yesterday I woke her up in the morning & I go, ‘Mommy has to go practice, I'll be back in a couple of hours, we can do whatever you want.’ She goes, ‘But Mommy, why do you need to practice?’ I said, ‘Because I want to be better. I want to win a lot more matches. She thinks about it. She goes, ‘Mommy, I'm really good at tennis. I don't need to practice. In the interview, she said

The Danish player made a comeback from her retirement last year and has produced some good performances since then.

She made it to the round of 16 of the US Open. In which she was defeated by the eventual winner, Coco Gauff.

Caroline Wozniacki will surely eye the Australian Open for a good comeback story

The first grand slam of the season is all set to begin on Sunday. With the draws already unveiled, Wozniacki will hope that she can go big at Melbourne Park.

However, she will face a tough challenge in the first round. She is drawn to the current-ranked World No. 24 Magda Linette. The Polish player performed well last time around in Melbourne Park, where she was defeated in the semis.

However, in her comeback, things won’t be any easier for the US Open finalist. Especially with the schedule after becoming a mother and managing both the odds.

Even if she crosses the hurdle of the first round, she can be drawn with top seeds such as Jessica Pegula, which would demand that she play out of her skin in those matches.
