Plenty of talent will be on display during round of 64 action at ATP Madrid in Spain, including the stylings of Casper Ruud and Sebastian Korda, here is your look at four big matches on Day 4. As always, we here at LWOT predict all the day’s matches. We split the rest of the matches between three other articles, featuring Daniil Medvedev vs Matteo Arnaldi, Rafael Nadal vs Alex de Minaur, and Jannik Sinner vs Lorenzo Sonego. Who do you think will advance?

Casper Ruud vs Miomir Kecmanovic

The champion of Barcelona, Ruud is looking in great form, at 29-8 on the season with back to back finals on clay. Kecmanovic is 10-13 on the season, he has lost both meetings on clay to Ruud and though he should up credible resistance, the Norwegian superstar looks set to continue his winning streak. Ruud in 2

Roberto Bautista Agut vs Karen Khachanov

Khachanov has won the last two meetings but trails the overall h2h 4-6, at 15-8 on the season with a quarterfinal in Monte Carlo, Khachanov is playing well, Bautista Agut has advanced to the second round as a lucky loser and is 9-10 on the season. The veteran Spaniard will enjoy playing at home, but Khachanov’s level has likely surpassed him at this point in their careers. Khachanov in 3

Sebastian Korda vs Max Purcell

Korda won their only meeting, at 6-11 on the year, Purcell is still seeking form and consistency. Korda is 11-11 on the season, he’s playing far from his best tennis, but on clay he should have enough firepower to get past Purcell who prefers faster surfaces. Korda in 2

Frances Tiafoe vs Pedro Cachin

Cachin beat Tiafoe on clay once prior, but he has endured a disaster 2024, going 1-11 after he secured 15 ATP Tour level wins last season. Tiafoe is 10-9 on the year and comes off the clay court final in Houston. Cachin is a capable player but it’s hard to back him when his first ATP win of the season just occurred a day prior, while Tiafoe is a steady ATP talent at this point. Tiafoe in 3
