Wolves forward Matheus Cunha faces a fight to play any part in the remainder of the season.
The Brazilian had damaged his hamstring in the club's home loss to Brentford earlier in February.
While Wolves did not put a timeline on the absence, Brazil's coach Dorival Junior has been more forthright.
He stated that Cunha is very unlikely to be available for games against England and Spain in late March.
Over the weekend, manager Gary O'Neil would not indicate how long Cunha would be absent.
