William Gallas Makes Bold Liverpool Prediction Ahead of New Season

Former Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur defender William Gallas believes that Liverpool will not make the top four in the Premier League this season due to the impact of the departure of Sadio Mane.

When speaking to Genting Casino , William Gallas believes that the loss of Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich will mean that Liverpool's presence in the Champions League will come to an end.

He told Genting Casino, "as an ex-London player, I have to say Chelsea, Arsenal, or Tottenham to win the Premier League," which already raises a few eyebrows over the legitimacy of his verdict given it probably is tilted in favour of the London clubs.

Gallas believes that "Luis Diaz doesn't have the same impact" as Sadio Mane, and that "Liverpool always concede goals too, like we saw against Fulham."

As for his overall prediction, he believes the top four will contain Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur but didn't reveal who finishes in which place.

It goes without saying that the chances that Liverpool finish outside the top two are unlikely, never mind finishing outside the top four. Jurgen Klopp's side are 1/12 to finish in the top four according to SkyBet.
