Sebastien Haller wins it for Ivory Coast! His sumptuous touch late in the game was worthy of winning any football game, especially an Africa Cup of Nations.

In the 82nd minute, Brighton star Simon Adingra picked the ball up on the left wing and drove beyond his man before firing a cross to the near post. Borussia Dortmund striker Sebastien Haller made a run to the front post and stretched out a leg to expertly divert the ball beyond the Nigeria keeper.

It has been a fairytale story for the Ivory Coast forward. In 2022 he was diagnosed with testicular cancer, in 2023 he beat cancer. And now in early 2024 he scores the winning goal to win his nation the AFCON trophy.
