Spartak Moscow ready to swoop in for Milan exile Krunic

Rade Krunic is ready to leave Milan this month and has reportedly attracted the attention of Spartak Moscow.

The 30-year-old Bosnian midfielder has fallen down coach Stefano Pioli’s pecking order in the Lombardy capital this season and now seems destined to depart in the coming weeks, being benched for the last six league matches.

Fenerbahce recently reignited their interest in Krunic, having already tried to secure his signature in the summer, but they’ve not managed to match Milan’s requests of €5m plus add-ons just yet, leaving the midfielder in limbo.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Spartak Moscow are interested in picking up Krunic and are preparing to send in an offer for the 30-year-old.

The Bosnian midfielder’s contract with the Rossoneri expires in June 2025 and it’s hard to imagine him returning to the fold under Pioli should he not be sold in the coming weeks.

This season, Krunic has seen 896 minutes of action across 14 matches in Serie A and the Champions League.
