Southampton defender Walker-Peters: Livramento ready for return

Southampton defender Kyle Walker-Peters has insisted that teammate Tino Livramento is ready to return.

Livramento, who was sensational for the Saints before going down with an injury last April, is finally nearing full fitness.

Walker-Peters, who will compete for the right-back spot with Livramento next season, is delighted to have his teammate back in action.

We're all really happy for Tino, throughout his two injuries everyone has been around him supporting him," Walker-Peters told the Daily Echo.

It's great to see him back on the pitch.

I think he is aware he needs to take things slowly with two big injuries, but he's looking really good and hopefully we get to see him on the pitch before the end of the season."
