Son of a gun Mitchel Bergkamp scores first goal for Bromley

Dutch youngster Mitchel Bergkamp, son of the legendary forward Dennis Bergkamp, scored his first goal for Bromley.

The forward is trying his luck in English football to follow in his father's footsteps.

Dennis, who spent 11 years at Arsenal, would have been impressed by the 24-year-old Mitchel this week.

He netted in a 2-1 loss to Woking on Tuesday, getting his first goal in 25 minutes for the London club.

Mitchel was previously with Watford's Under-23s, but was released at the end of his contract.

He also had a spell with Almere Under-21s in Holland in 2020.
