Sissoko delivers Barcelona chief Deco positive Dembele news

The agent of Ousmane Dembele has met with Barcelona sports director Deco.

Moussa Sissoko has held talks with Deco about a new contract and also Dembele's current deal.

Dembele's contract carries a 50m buyout clause which runs to July 31, with Sissoko due 50 per cent of the fee should the option be triggered.

However, Sissoko has assured Deco that Dembele will not be seeking to leave this summer. Instead, they wish to open talks about a new contract.

Deco and Barca's board are pleased, with a new deal now being drawn up to 2027 for Dembele. The player's current deal runs to 2024.
