Sheffield Utd medical for Villa striker Cameron Archer

Aston Villa striker Cameron Archer is closing in on his move away from the club.

Archer has been adamant about leaving the Midlands club in search of regular first team football.

Per the Express, Archer is set to undergo a medical at Sheffield United in the coming days.

The forward only has to agree a few more details ahead of a permanent transfer.

Unai Emery's Villa will receive 18 million from their fellow Premier League side for Archer.

While Emery was happy to hold onto the young striker, he could not promise him big minutes.
