Former Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino could be set to return to the Premier League this month.

Firmino left Anfield to join Al-Ahli in the Saudi Pro League in July but he is said to be keen to leave just six months on.

The Brazilian made a dream start to life in the SPL. After being named as Al-Ahli's captain, Firmino scored a hat-trick on his debut in a 3-1 win over Al-Hazm in August.

However, the 32-year-old has not scored in 18 appearances since then.

According to talkSPORT, Firmino wants to find a new club during the January transfer window and his services have been offered to multiple EPL teams, including Fulham.

Firmino is the highest-scoring Brazilian player in Premier League history, having netted 82 times in 256 matches for Liverpool. He also produced 50 EPL assists.

He was part of the Liverpool team that won the Premier League title in the 2019/20 season.

Firmino also won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, Community Shield, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup with Liverpool.

Fulham sold star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic to Al-Hilal in August.

Mitrovic has scored 17 goals in his first 17 league games for the SPL leaders.

Only Cristiano Ronaldo has scored more goals in the Saudi Pro League this season.
