Riyad Mahrez completed his transfer from Manchester City to Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia on Friday.

The Algeria winger was pictured wearing an Al-Ahli jersey printed with "Mahrez 2027", suggesting that he has signed a four-year contract.

Mahrez, 32, is the third player to join Al-Ahli from the Premier League this summer — after Edouard Mendy signed from Chelsea and Roberto Firmino arrived on a free transfer following the expiration of his Liverpool contract.

According to BBC Sport, City will receive up to £30 million from the sale of Mahrez, who had two years remaining on his contract at the Etihad Stadium.

Mahrez has left England as a Premier League legend.

The five-time EPL champion was a key member of the Leicester team that famously triumphed against all odds in 2016.

He then won the title with Man City in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Mahrez scored 82 goals and provided 61 assists in 284 games during his EPL career.

He helped City win a famous treble last season, but was an unused substitute in the finals of both the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League.
