Liverpool are reportedly eyeing up a move for a La Liga striker to replace the outgoing Roberto Firmino according to a report.

The Brazilian is out of contract at the end of the season and it emerged last week that he will not be extending his stay at Anfield despite the wishes of manager Jurgen Klopp who was keen to retain the 31-year-old.

The departure of Firmino still leaves Liverpool with high-quality options in attacking areas but possibly light on numbers with Sadio Mane, Takumi Minamino, and Divock Origi also having departed over the past year.

It is no surprise therefore that the Reds are being linked with new strikers now that Firmino's future has been confirmed, and according to Fichajes, the Merseyside club are interested in Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri.

The Spanish outlet claims that Liverpool could make an offer of £30million for the player who impressed for Morocco at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

They also report that Sevilla, who are struggling in 17th place in La Liga could be tempted by the offer due to their financial problems.
