Report: 23-year-old Man Utd, Newcastle target has ‘sparked interest’ from Tottenham

Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months.

The Spanish club are currently in considerable debt and they could be forced to sell key players in the upcoming window. The 23-year-old goalkeeper has attracted a lot of interest with his performances and clubs like Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Newcastle United are keen on him as per Fichajes.

Apparently, his performances have ‘sparked interest’ from the three Premier League sides who are keen on signing a quality goalkeeper.

Tottenham have recently signed Guglielmo Vicario as the replacement for Hugo Lloris and it seems that they are looking to add more depth to the position. Meanwhile, Manchester United signed Andre Onana as the first-choice goalkeeper earlier this season, but he has proven to be quite underwhelming so far. His error performances have cost the Red Devils valuable points this season.

As far as Newcastle are concerned, Nick Pope is the first-choice goalkeeper at the club, but the Magpies need to add more quality to the side. Signing another goalkeeper could prove to be a wise decision.

The 23-year-old is a prodigious talent with a big future ahead of him and he could prove to be a superb addition for all three clubs. It will be interesting to see where he ends up eventually.
