All signs point to Xavi Simons returning to Paris Saint-Germain after his loan stint with RB Leipzig ends this season. The 21-year-old will be one of the key pillars in the post-Kylian Mbappé era in the French capital.

Nonetheless, this season, Simons has flashed his potential with Leipzig, even putting on an impressive performance against Real Madrid in the second leg despite the loss.

One area of his game that has stood out for the Dutchman in this Bundesliga campaign is his dribbling. WhoScored published a stat on the best dribble success rates in Europe’s top five leagues this season, and Simons is near the top.

The PSG loanee’s dribble success rate is 60 percent, and only two players are ahead of him. According to the statistical outlet, Manchester City’s Jérémy Doku (61.3 percent) and Olympique Lyonnais’ Rayan Cherki (61.3 percent) have a better success rate.

Simons is also ahead of two players who are having impressive seasons for their respective clubs, Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala (59.6 percent) and West Ham United’s Mohammed Kudus (59.4 percent).

PSG supporters are already excited about Simons’ return after being away for two years on loan stints. These types of statistics will only excite the fanbase as the Parisians have a good young core in the attack.
