Carlos Tevez made a name for himself in the Premier League after his controversial move to West Ham in 2006. The Argentina star’s transfer to the London club was embroiled in controversies but nevertheless, he ended up at Old Trafford.

Tevez joined the club on a two-season loan deal and impressed supporters but few will have come out of the arrangement feeling the same way.

Instead of agreeing to Manchester United’s proposal to make his temporary stay permanent in 2009, he would instead opt to join Manchester City before getting involved in a war of words with Sir Alex Ferguson.
