Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to start Alexis Sanchez in attack, and Davide Frattesi and Kristjan Asllani in midfield against Sassuolo. This evening’s Serie A matchday 35 clash kicks off at 20.45 CET.

Inzaghi has made a number of changes to the team that beat Torino last weekend.

Firstly, in attack, there is a start for former Arsenal and Barcelona veteran Alexis Sanchez.

The 35-year-old leads the line for the Nerazzurri alongside captain Lautaro Martinez.

Therefore, Marcus Thuram drops out of the starting eleven.

Then, in goal, Emil Audero gets a start.

There is no injury to Yann Sommer. However, Inzaghi has decided to give the Sampdoria-owned keeper the start.

In defense, meanwhile, it is the trio of Benjamin Pavard, Stefan de Vrij, and Alessandro Bastoni.

Frattesi & Asllani Get The Nod In Midfield

Next up, in midfield there are two changes to the trio.

35-year-old former Manchester United man Henrikh Mkhitaryan keeps his place – this is a 23rd consecutive start for the tireless veteran.

But the likes of Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu drop to the bench.

Therefore, there are opportunities for that duo’s two main deputies in the squad – Frattesi and Asllani to start.

Lastly, on the flanks, Carlos Augusto and Denzel Dumfries start.

In terms of injuries, meanwhile, there is only one for Inter. Francesco Acerbi is not part of the Nerazzurri squad.
