Napoli might clean house in the summer and let go of a few stalwarts, but Mario Giuffredi, who represents Mario Rui, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, and Matteo Politano, stated that their clients wouldn’t leave. He spoke to Canale 8 (via Vesuvio Live).

“Among my players, nobody has given any thought to partying ways with the Azzurri. If we agree to contracts, it’s because we plan to respect them and see them out. If in the future, the new coach doesn’t like them or the club has different ideas and strategies, we will take that into consideration and move on serenely from a team that has given us a lot.”

“However, I can guarantee that Di Lorenzo, Rui, and Politano will all stay at Napoli next season. In addition, fleeing this summer would be cowardly. We aren’t used to ending things in the worst possible fashion.”

The veteran fullback has been surprisingly linked with an exit. Manchester United, Aston Villa and Inter are reportedly interested in his services.

Giuffredi is also the agent of Gianluca Gaetano, who has flourished after joining Cagliari on loan in January. According to Il Mattino, he and Micheal Folorunsho, who’s thriving at Hellas Verona, have excellent chances of being part of the Napoli squad next season. The Partenopei will have to replace at least Piotr Zielinski in the midfield. Instead, Elia Caprile is likely to be on the move again, on loan or permanently.
