Ex-Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo could be in line for a move to the United States.

The Argentine is a friend of footballing legend Lionel Messi, who now plays for Inter Miami in MLS.

Messi has secured the likes of Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez for Inter in the past few months.

Continental 590 radio reports Rojo could be the next of his friends to join him for the coming year.

Rojo has experienced his share of disciplinary problems during his career.

"[It] helps me a lot, I am always in contact," he told to TyC Sports in 2022 about going to therapy.

"I started because of the injuries, I felt I was doing all I could with the doctors,

I followed the recovery stages and when I got back on the field I got injured again. I couldn't figure it out.

"Since I started working with [the psychologist] the injuries have been less frequent and I felt good again on the pitch. He told me to trust in myself and in my body again."
