Former Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch has given his opinion on a new Premier League hire.

Marsch was sacked by Leeds last term with the club on the brink of an eventual relegation.

The American has given his insight on new Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner, having coming up against him in Germany.

On Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, Marsch stated: His philosophy is about controlling the space right and making sure that you're compact.

But this 3-4-3 system is very unique to Ollie. He did it at LASK and that is where he first developed it, and he had a lot of success.

He took them up from from the second division to the first and then he took them to the Europa League.

He's taken that with him everywhere he's gone, but he's made little tweaks. For sure, he's had strong center backs, he's had full backs that can run the whole length of the pitch and he's had attacking players who are creative, fast and like to play direct."
