Lille pushing hard to keep Everton midfielder Gomes; Celta Vigo also keen

Lille are having a few issues negotiating to secure Andre Gomes from Everton permanently.

The French side are desperate to keep the Portuguese midfielder after he impressed last season on loan.

However, Le 11 Lillois states that a deal must be financially tenable for Lille.

The 29-year-old has a big salary that is beyond most French clubs, as he was their highest earner last year even after Everton agreed to pay half his salary.
