Lazio have approved their balance sheets for the year ending June 2023, confirming increases in both turnover and costs.

The Biancocelesti secured a second-place finish in Serie A last season, a result that brough them back to the Champions League for this campaign, something that has important financial ramifications for the club.

The approved balance sheets do not include the summer transfer window, so the sale of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Al-Hilal or various signings like Valentin Castellanos have not been included.

As detailed by Lazio (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), the club’s turnover has increased to €148.33 million, a rise of around €13.08 million when compared to June 2022.

  • Revenues from competitions of €17.92 million,
  • TV rights and other concessions for €101.99 million,
  • Sponsorships, advertising, and royalties for €20.72 million
  • Merchandising revenues of €2.31 million
  • Other revenues and income of €5.39 million

Lazio’s operating costs also increased to €143.72 million total, an increase of €13.49 million compared to the year prior. This is partly due to the bonuses that were paid out following the second-place finish as well as various tax changes.

The wage bill was calculated at €69.52 million, with €37.5 million being spent on signings and €7.8 million being collected from sales.
